Is currently airing KBS 2TV historical drama, 'Hwarang,' going to be turned into a musical?

On December 21, a rep of Asia Bridge Contents stated, "It is true that we, with Oh Boy Project, is going to produce a musical of drama 'Hwarang.' However, we are still in talks over the length of time it'll be put on and the casting, so nothing else is confirmed. The musical 'Hwarang' that was being played in Daehangno is based on another drama named 'Hwarang.'"
