Momoland talk about being compared to TWICE and IOI as they make their debut

Rookie girl group Momoland shared their thoughts on being compared to TWICE and IOI during their debut showcase.�

Momoland held a debut showcase on November 9 to kick off their first mini album, 'Welcome to MOMOLAND'.�

During the interview, the group was asked about TWICE and IOI -- groups that also debuted through a survival reality program. Yeonwoo responded by saying, "We are the latest girl group that did a survival show. Before us, TWICE and IOI sunbaes displayed great work [since the shows]. We want to do our best to emulate their passion and work ethic."�

Another member, Hyebin added, "Momoland is a group that is like an amusement park, as the name suggests. We prepared music that might be heard at an amusement park. We will become a group that brings sounds that didn't exist before with different sound effects...We will be able to present various strengths because all 7 members are so unique."�
