Ever since Sechskies' disbandment in 2000, Ko Ji Yong has stayed away from broadcast appearances, choosing to live a non-celebrity life as a businessman. Then, he recently greeted fans on TV for the first time in 16 years through 'Infinity Challenge', but decided not to participate in Sechskies' reunion under YG Entertainment. As a result, his return to the screen is that much more a hot issue among fans and the public!

On November 30, the producers of 'Superman is Back' shared the good new for fans of Ko Ji Yong and announced that he'll be appearing on the show with his 3-year old son Ko Seung Jae.
Ko Ji Yong also shared a comment regarding his decision, and said, "I decided to go on the show to keep the promise I made with my fans, when I said even though I can no longer promote with Sechskies, I will try to make opportunities [to greet them] in all ways I can."
He'll begin filming for the show in December, and his life as an ordinary businessman, father, and husband will likely prove to be especially relatable for male viewers!
