Some netizens are calling out IOI's new MV for being too similar to Red Velvet's "Russian Roulette" MV.

On a popular online community site, there are multiple posts that are making similar claims, saying that the two MVs -- "Very Very Very" and "Russian Roulette" are too similar.

Many are complaining that the outfits are almost identical in colors and style.

Some are noticing very similar makeup looks -- glittery freckles.

There are even similar camera angles, positions of the members, and props.

Some claim that the similarities are due to the two MVs having the same director, but this has not been confirmed.

One netizen commented on the post, saying, "The colors scheme, hairstyle, and makeup are all too similar...I can only think that they copied Red Velvet." Another commented, "How is this different from 'Russian Roulette'...Maybe the director is the same person...Even if it turns out to be the same director, they're just recycling the same ideas."

What do you guys think? Do you think the two MVs have a lot of similarities?

Check out the MVs for yourself, if you haven't already!

I'm not saying that the director copied red velvet's mv but they sure could've been more creative.

Everyone's forgetting that these idol groups only perform. They do not style themselves, choreograph or produce their own song.

I guess if i suddenly upload a picture of myself on the internet wearing the same thing as the two groups, then apparently im copying their concept now?? I think not, just because another person or group wear the same outfit, hair, makeup, and pose doesn't mean they're instantly copying eachother, the stylist just probably thought that the type of outfit or makeup was cute enough to use for their cute concept.Yeah okay, the two groups are using tennis balls, so? Does that mean Exo - Monster, Got7 - If you do, BTS - Fire, and other groups who use cars in their MV's suddenly copy the first person to use it? NO ITS JUST A PROP.

it's called a "trend" and apparently it happens quite often.

tooooo similar

The only thing I see as being similar is the part with the tennis balls. Everything else can be explained away as coincidence.

the kitsch dancing part break pattern is just obvious.

". . . they're just recycling the same ideas."lol 99% of Kpop is just recycling the same ideas. This is no surprise.

Black Pink copied them and now IOI also other groups i am not familiar with their names but saw similarities in their mvs so yes. In IOI, one of the main vocals i think her name is Yeonjung she stands out even with small screen time and as for the first girl in the middle they give her too much focus in IOI but strangely she is the least appealing one, this is a project group but its a shame as they have pontifical
