Joo Sang Wook relayed his firm stance on two-timing and infidelity in a romantic relationship.

During the press conference for drama 'Fantastic,' The actor said, "If there are two people in the relationship, there must be just one of us left [after the affair]. Either I or my partner must die because I absolutely cannot condone two-timing." That is...a bit extreme but, hey, at least Joo Sang Wook sounds like he will make a faithful partner!

The actor's opinion was a reference to what his character in the drama, Ryu Hae Seong, said to Lee So Hye (played by Kim Hyun Joo). In the series, Ryu Hae Seong had told Lee So Hye that it's okay to cheat in a relationship.

Though it may be okay for a sleazy character like Ryu Hae Seong, Joo Sang Wook put his foot down, saying, "It may be possible for Ryu Hae Seong but not for Joo Sang Wook."

Yeah, that's extreme ! Two timing and cheating on someone is the worst! If you just don't like your partner, you have to put an end of your relationship, period! That's the best for everyone.

die? idiot. break up - great choice. but die? dude, there's something wrong with u

shannnnt Saturday, September 24, 2016

Basically don't cheat on him or you'll die or become a murderer.

SaVanityVan Saturday, September 24, 2016

I mean... I'm completely against infidelity myself and see it as an automatic end to any and every relationship, no exceptions but.. death is a little much lol At least he's including guys in this, cuz I've known a few guys that've said that WOMEN who cheat deserve to die/could justifiably be killed by the man, but have themselves cheated and are vehemently opposed to the idea of women so much as destroying their man's stuff upon learning he's cheated sooooo

BigBlueagain Friday, September 23, 2016

I don't think I'd go to THAT extreme, but if I've been cheated on, she is dead to ME. She may still be suckin air (and other things) with someone else, but to me she's done.

...wut.....the....hell.....I mean he could of said he was forever bent on being faithful without being creepy right?

Sang Wook-ah... I like you as an actor, but sometimes it's better to shut up.

Alot of people tend to assume that monogamy is "natural", what if it's not and polygamy is and that's why alot of people cheat and can't keep it to one partner, they were born this way just like gay people.

perfectsmilebias Voldemin_2 Friday, September 23, 2016

True, polygamy is not inherently a bad thing. But if you are in a two-person relationship that is not an open relationship or there is an assumption that the relationship is an exclusive one, and then one partner cheats, that's bad. Not because they went against the principle of monogamy, but because they were dishonest with their partner. That's how I see it.

Voldemin_2 perfectsmilebias Friday, September 23, 2016

My point is more that you always can blame your actions on something, if it's not your genes, it's your social upbringing, it's not your fault to be born into that household with that kind of parents in that kind of country into that kind of culture etc, we can make an excuse for every action we' are making, the difference is that there are some reasons/excuses people would forgive while there are some others they wouldn't

sophiesu Voldemin_2 Friday, September 23, 2016

People assume monogamy is natural due to social pressures. Even though polygamy has been observed in many animal species, scientists suggest that polygamy is most favorable for evolution. Monogamy only began its prominency in recent decades. I'm not saying I support polygamy (which I don't), but research definitely points to polgamy.

perfectsmilebias Voldemin_2 Friday, September 23, 2016

Yes, there are reasons behind everyone's actions. I would use the word reason rather than excuse, because for me a genetic or psychological predisposition towards polygamy could be a reason for cheating, but it doesn't excuse lying.

BigBlueagain Voldemin_2 Friday, September 23, 2016

If that's the kind of relationship that you choose to get into, fine. But if you give your word to be faithful, you keep your word or you end the relationship if your partner doesn't agree. Poly relationships are a pain in the ass though. I do NOT recommend it.

bangeryun94 Voldemin_2 Saturday, September 24, 2016

If the person has made it abundantly clear that he/she doesn't want to be monogamous then the other person can choose to stick around or leave. It is not however, cool to start a serious relationship with someone and then demand an open relationship.

pink_oracle Friday, September 23, 2016

What a freakshow. Who actually admits they would kill a woman for cheating on them??

BakaKaori pink_oracle Friday, September 23, 2016

He'd make a scary boyfriend. Is cheating the only reason he'd kill his girlfriend? I'd be afraid he'd threaten my life for doing anything he didn't like

pink_oracle BakaKaori Friday, September 23, 2016

"You bought the store brand toilet paper?? Now you die!"

perfectsmilebias pink_oracle Friday, September 23, 2016

yeah... much harsh... but I think he was just over-exaggerating /using a a figure of speech. He didn't mean it literally.

pink_oracle perfectsmilebias Monday, September 26, 2016

Considering hundreds of women per day are killed by their abusive husbands/boyfriends I really don't see such comments as humorous.

perfectsmilebias pink_oracle Monday, September 26, 2016

I don't think he was trying to be humorous, just dramatic. People get murdered every day but people still say "i'll kill you" as a figure of speech. Perhaps it's weird... But...
