Former Co-ed School member Sungmin joins new label + lands role in a drama

Former Co-ed school member Sungmin is starting his acting career anew under a new label!

On September 15, Sungmin's new label Star Camp 202, announced, "Rookie Choi Sungmin recently signed on with Star Camp 202. With unlimited potential, he's an actor to look forward to. We will give him the fullest support so that he can grow into a great actor in various fields. Along with the new start, he'll be joining current SBS morning drama 'Here Comes Love' from episode 57 as son Kim Ho Young of Kim Sang Ho (Lee Hoon) and Na Sun Young (Lee Min Young)." Star Camp 202 also revealed still cuts of Sungmin from 'Here Comes Love'.

Wtf this caught me off guard so much.. I mean wouldn't akp use "former SPEED member" instead of Co-Ed? I haven't seen anyone use it in so long ahahAh anyways, I can totally see Sungmin rocking the small and maybe even big screens in the near future~ he always had that "actorish" vibe around him imo. I loved him since Co-Ed so.. Definitely gonna support him. Good luck~

I wish SPEED had more success but with all the line up changes and the issues from Co-Ed school followed them, Sungmin was always my favorite I can't wait to see him again in dramas!

The company let them go and disbanded them. They were meant to come back with 2 new members are TaeWoon left, but they decided to let the members go when the core contents became MBK Entertainment. They were essentially collateral damage

Don't feel bad. The company jerked fans around. Saying that they would have a come back and then they removed their fan page, but said it was because they were fixing the members part. You couldn't have known.

Sorry, I vaguely remembering seeing them perform What U during 2015's Dream Concert, was I wrong? If I wasn't, did they disband before that or after? I thought they added a new member during What U too, but he was training for the new boy group too. So basically then they have already given up on them?

They did perform What U. They were adding TWO members. They added the first one, I think his name was Sungmin. And then TaeWoon's contract ended and he left, and then the second new member was meant to join and pretty much the company screwed them over
