On September 22, they had a surprise live event through the 'V' app celebrating not only having 3 million followers but being the first to do so.

About a year ago, BTS started using the 'V Live' to chat and communicate with their fans. The last three months, they passed 2 million followers and now, they passed 3 million!
The group said, "Today, we passed 3 million on 'V Live.' It seems like just the day before yesterday when we passed 2 million, but we're already at 3 million. Time goes so fast . . . 3 million is not an easy number. Please support us until we get 4 million soon."
Jungkook promised, "If we pass 10 million, we will release commemorative music."
