F.T. Island guested on the August 5 installment of 'Sketchbook,' getting chatty with MC Yoo Hee Yeol on a variety of topics.
The boys, who haven't been on 'Sketchbook' in three years, confessed that being on the show is "a trauma" to them. Hongki said jokingly, "There are times when we get so nervous that we become downright flustered. It feels like an interrogation room," bringing laughter.

F.T. Island also talked about their long tenure in the K-Pop scene, revealing their thoughts on the 'idol band' title which stuck when they first debuted in 2007. Hongki said that he's made peace with being an 'idol band,' saying, "Just two or three years ago, I didn't like the term 'idol band' but I'm okay with it now. I feel like we're uncles when we go on music programs."
When MC Yoo Hee Yeol asked what their goal as a band is, they answered, "We want to continue doing music even when we're past the age of 50."
