During an interview with Sports World, Kyung Li talked about the difference between Nine Muses and their subunit, Nine Muses A.
Kyung Li first compared concepts, explaining, "Unlike Nine Muses, Nine Muses A captures bright, bouncy charms found in people in their 20's. It's a concept that I've always wanted to try ever since I was young."

She continued, "Nine Muses emphasizes sexy, but Nine Muses A has both sexy and fresh. With that in mind, I think we will be able to radiate more youthful charms. And since there are only 4 members [in the subunit], I think each person will be able to show more of their individual charms and eventually, we will become energizers for full Nine Muses promotions."
