Back in May, 'Hip Hop Nation' shocked viewers with its unique format, which had real hip hop artists team up with elderly women to compete in rap battles.
After successfully wrapping up the 1st season, 'Hip Hop Nation' will be returning, new and improved! MC Shin Dong Yup has decided to return for the new season, which will take on a slightly different format from the first. Although we've yet to receive too many details on the series, this upcoming 2nd season will feature not just grandmas, but anyone who "doesn't seem like the hip hop type."
Reportedly, rappers PALOALTO and Flowsik have come on board as rap mentors. The show plans on kicking off filming sometime in September.
