Jiyoon wrote a letter to her fans following the news of 4minute's disbandment.
On June 18, she posted the below letter to Instagram, writing, "It's already been 7 years that I was a part of 4minute. I was happy thanks to all of you. I'm sorry we weren't able to end it on a beautiful note. I'll repay you... because I cannot forget. Please stay by our side for a long time like the blue sky. I love you. Thank you very much."
Jiyoon also added, "I miss you, 4NIA." June 16 marked 4minute's official 7th anniversary since their debut, and the same day, the 4minute members' contracts with Cube Entertainmentcame to an end. Only HyunAhas re-signed with the label.
