The moment I pressed play and started listening to the song, I was immediately reminded of the Talking Heads. The singing style, the jaunty, caroming way the guitar is strummed all reminded me of David Byrne's music...but maybe that's just me.
"The Smell's Gone" explores the topic of breakup even though it's not specifically mentioned.
