On the May 9 broadcast of 'Same Bed Different Dreams,'�Red Velvet's Joy revealed that she had been practicing to be Miss Korea ever since she was a little girl.�
Joy told the audience, "When I was young, I was on the pretty side so I was told more than once that I could be Miss Korea. I thought it was an actual profession so I would practice for it."�

When the audience wanted to see how Joy had practiced to be Miss Korea, Joy struck her familiar 'Miss Korea' pose, crossing her legs and wearing her fiercest gaze. The idol explained, "I believed that Miss Korea must look proud."�
Joy then joked, "If I did this, then [the elders] would give me a lot of allowance money." Now we know why Joy was really 'practicing' to be Miss Korea!�
