The actor explained, "Once I became the head of the household after getting married, my attitude changed. [Because] I have a child and a wife, I think I became more responsible. I put my all into every little thing I do, and the way I carry myself has changed."

When DJ Park Kyung Rim asked if he gets to see his child often despite his busy schedule, Yoon Sang Hyun replied, "I get to see her at 2 or 3 in the morning after the drama filming is over. I really miss her because I go out for filming in the morning and come back the next day in the morning. But my daughter wakes up. She laughs every time she sees me. I feel so grateful. I'm so tired and exhausted but she makes all those feelings go away."
Yoon Sang Hyun then added that his daughter takes after him, saying, "I have a hard time because she takes after me. I think she's got ambitions to be funny because her expressions are dynamic and she's very energetic. So my wife has a really hard time [looking after her]."
At Park Kyung Rim's question on what kind of father he wants to be, Yoon Sang Hyun answered, "I want to be a father that is like a friend to her, and I just always want to support her no matter what."
