AOA are not getting the best of responses from their recently released album 'Good Luck,' thanks to all the untimely controversies which bubbled up just moments before their comeback.

Members Jimin and Seolhyun were under fire from netizens for their limited knowledge on general Korean history, a controversy which led them to issue apologies. Further, the MV for "Good Luck" had been taken down as soon as it was released, allegedly due to all the product placements in the MV and Jimin's skin exposure. But the worst part about all these controversies surrounding AOA is that netizens do not yet seem ready to forgive the girls for their mistakes.

In the comment section for the group's new album info on MelOn, netizens commented, "Did they make a comeback to be insulted? They should have repented and postponed their comeback. I can see their song falling on their charts after stores that played their new album closed up in the morning. That means people aren't listening to their new song," "Their ranking is finally preparing to fall into the deep abyss," "How about they just promote in Japan? lololol Their attire is just tit-tastic," "Everywhere I go I'd see Seolhyun but is she slowly going to start pulling out of her endorsements now? Bye," and, "Just how much much did they give Naver that there is not a single article lololol there aren't even any comments about their comeback anywhere."

Aigooo, the timing was just not good

AOA deserves love! Stop hating on this talented girls

They are just unlucky. The whole lot of this controversies happened just a few days before their comeback. And, as you guys know, Korean netizens never let anything pass easily. They will never accept AOA's apology, like never. Whenever the situation allows, they will always bring it up, again and again. The fanbase is really important in this situation.

"not a single article lololol there aren't even any comments about their comeback anywhereWth? Bitch is you blind. There's a lot of article about their comeback =.=

SaVanityVan MysMitz Tuesday, May 17, 2016

They mean in Korea. AKP doesn't count. Also, they probably mean people talking about the music and MV themselves, not AOA's controversies.

heyjude00 Tuesday, May 17, 2016

WHAT. WHAT. It's not like they shot, directed and edited the videos themselves. That's probably the higher ups. Like what.

snsd_holic Tuesday, May 17, 2016

Honestly, knez are going way overboard with the whole thing. I understand that they are disappointed over the history quiz thing, but in the end Jimin and Seolhyun didn't solve these important historical people on purpose, they were just trying to answer the questions. The fact that they laughed during it, maybe to themselves for not knowing, doesn't make it worse. Also no one in here gets mad over not knowing my country's important historical figures, so why should you knez. Just let it be ffs

k this is what i think. i think the outfits (if it is theone i think we are talking about) was the stylist's fault. people hating seolhyun for media play is not her fault. it is the company's. but the history quiz controversy, i cant think of any way to protect them from it. it was jimin and seolhyun's fault for not knowing and even making fun of it i heard. plus, i read a comment from a post (which had 100 likes so people agree to it) said that seolhyun said in hello counselor, "people who doesnt know history dont have any future." she said that herself and she didnt know one of the most important people in history of korea that practically saved korea and dying for korea. its like not knowing martin luther king jr. this controversy is like one of the most popular controversy right now and so i dont think this was a good time to release another song...

Good luck is a great song, jealous women are just intimidated by Seolhyun's beauty and want her to fail. That's what this is about

For you, the reason might be that. But, you might want to try to search for the articles about their controversies. There are a few in this site too.
