On the May 19 airing of KBS2's 'Happy Together 3', actor Kim Hee Won talked about throwing hits toward EXO's D.O. for his role in movie 'Cart' (2014).
About the scene, in which Kim Hee Won, the owner of a convenience store, hit D.O, a part time employee, the actor shared, "I hit him for real. I hit him about 3 times. At first, I didn't know who he was. I just thought he was another actor."
He continued, "But then afterward, people asked me, 'do you know who he is', and I said I didn't, so they told me he was a member of EXO. And they were worried for me because they said his fans might get mad at me. But I just said, 'acting is acting.'"
The fans' reactions toward D.O.'s scene in the movie were quite the opposite of everyone's expectations! Kim Hee Won went on to reveal, "But it turned out that the EXO fans liked the scene. Their favorite idol got hit so hard by me that it made his acting stand out. They said that he did a good job acting the role of someone getting hit."
We can all agree that D.O. really did do a very good job!
