Even though this scene brought loads of laughter, it is being criticized for its randomness. Viewers claim that Red Velvet's appearance was unnecessary, and even criticized SM Entertainment for PPL (Product Placement) and indirectly advertising their artist.
In addition, Red Velvet is under the same label as SHINee's Onew, who took the role of 'Lee Chi Hoon' in the drama. Viewers believe this is another link to Red Velvet's random appearance.
