On April 7, Ilsan Police Department reported that a 36-year-old man was arrested for allegedly beating, stabbing, and chopping the finger off his girlfriend at an officetel (office hotel).�
The girlfriend, who refused to apply for a marriage certificate, was stripped naked and brutally beaten by her angry boyfriend. He chopped off one of the fingers on her left hand, however, she managed to escape and was saved by the officetel security.�
It was revealed that the boyfriend has a violent history and received psychiatric treatment. He was also previously charged for rape and violence on his girlfriend. Currently the boyfriend is under investigation and awaiting his sentencing.
