Taiwanese netizens criticized the excessive amount of police protection on the day of Tzuyu's qualification exam.

Tzuyu, who has immense popularity in Taiwan, recently took her qualification exam at her middle school. On exam day, police escorted the star for safety and protection. However, Taiwanese netizens pointed out that the amount of police protection was unnecessary.
Taiwanese media outlet ET today called it 'over protection'. It is reported that a total of 35 police officers showed up for Tzuyu. Many people think that it was an unnecessary act, some even called it 'wasting police resources'.
Tzuyu's qualification exam day and her overabundant amount of police protection is now a huge controversy in Taiwan. Tzuyu's safety is a top concern, but did netizens get it right that protection should be a top priority for everyone and not just celebrities? Or are they just hating?
