Yuri guested on the recent airing of SBS's 'How to Live and Eat Well,' revealing how she came to debut in Girls' Generation.
The singer explained, "At the request of my friend, I went to an SM audition to dance with her, and that's how I entered the company."

She added, "I didn't get to debut until my seventh year as a trainee. All the friends that had trained with me debuted quickly and appeared on TV. I was about to quit when an opportunity arose," giving the backstory of how she came to be a part of one of the biggest girl groups in K-Pop.
