According to the Seoul Central District Court's announcement on December 22, Ms. Choi's fifth plea date in regard to her damages suit against Kim Hyun Joong has been pushed back to February 3, 2016.
Regarding this postponement, Kim Hyun Joong's lawyer Lee Jae Man told Xports News, "The change in the plea date was not requested by either side but something the courts decided solely of their own accord."

Last August, Ms. Choi had sued Kim Hyun Joong for abuse and other charges and submitted a damages suit amounting to 1.6 billion KRW (~$1.4 million USD) against him in April of this year.
Choi gave birth to a baby boy in September, and DNA tests found that Kim Hyun Joong is 99.9999% the father. Currently, Kim Hyun Joong is enlisted in the army for mandatory military service.
