The press conference for new JTBC variety show, 'Mari and Me,' took place on December 15 with appearances by the MCs: Kang Ho Dong, Seo In Guk, Shim Hyung Tak, Lee Jae Hoon, Kim Min Je, and iKON's B.I and Kim Jin Hwan.

On this day, Kang Ho Dong brightened the atmosphere as he sang iKON's "My Type." Seo In Guk then revealed the story behind this mini performance, "For iKON, Kang Ho Dong practiced 'My Type' for three hours. Kang Ho Dong practiced the song for the maknaes because it's their first time on variety, and seeing him show that made me respect him. Because of the effort Kang Ho Dong put in, any awkwardness upon first meeting each other immediately crumbled away."
