As a person who is in a committed, loving relationship with his wife, Sean advised, "I think gifts are best received by those who have received them before. When my wife receives gifts, she is very appreciative," and told the girlfriend, "Practice showing your appreciation. Then you will be able to receive a gift you like," perhaps insinuating that one can enjoy any gift when accepting it with a grateful heart.
