Yenny went deep and personal about her past on JTBC's 'Going to School' on November 3 when giving advice to a student who was split between a mother's dream and a personal dream.

Yenny said, "My dream was to be a singer but my mother wanted me to become an attorney or someone in the legal circle. There was even a time my mother slapped me after I went to do a performance," admitting there was strong opposition from her parent.
However, things luckily worked out for her as she said, "Now she really likes what I do. I hope that I can give more shape to the dream that I have in order to make my mother feel secure."
