Abnormal Summit's Saudi Arabia rep under controversy for lying about his house?

Popular JTBC show 'Abnormal Summit', which features a panel of good looking men from all across the globe, has gotten into a bit of a broadcast controversy from its latest episode.

On the November 3 episode, the visiting Saudi Arabian representative Yasser Khalifa talked about how nice his house back home was, impressing the cast and viewers alike.

Yasser bragged as he showed a photo of his house, "Our house is 500 pyong (about 17,791 square feet). Inside, we have a garden, and you can park there and raise animals there too."

He added, "Normally in Saudi there are many living rooms in homes. We have four living rooms in our house. We have a living room for tea and a living room to watch movies."

After the broadcast, there was a lot of interest in what Yasser had shared, as his grand house sounded like something only seen in movies.

But then netizens realized that the house Yasser showed on broadcast, was actually, not his house in Saudi Arabia. The picture of the house he showed is actually a house in Altamonte Springs, Florida, which you can find online.

Most of the online comments were critical, as they wrote, "This is absurd," and "He totally fooled us," and "Why did he lie about this?

While some comments took his side by saying, "The staff could have prepared this photo for convenience's sake."

About Saudi Arabia, Yasser also shared, "In Saudi, there are many rich people and there are very few poor people. When you need money, you can apply for a loan from the country. In Saudi, I'm in the middle class. My rich friends have houses that are as big as the World Cup Stadium."
