On the latest live broadcast on Naver's 'V', B2ST's Hyunseung showed some discomfort as he recalled the time he was involved in a controversy regarding his absence at a fan meeting.
When talking about the most memorable moment during B2ST's 6 years of promoting as a group, Hyunseung answered, "It was the time that my picture was taken at the cafe. I have my personal life too."

Back on September 14, it was reported that Hyunseung was suspected of ditching his fan meeting for a date at a cafe with an unidentified female. Fans who were present at the fan meeting voiced their disappointment in the idol for being absent and was outraged when coming across a photo of him at a cafe in Seoul's Cheongdamdong area.
When the news broke, Cube Entertainment defended Hyunseung and said that Hyunseung was absent due to "personal reasons regarding his parents" and that "The absence was announced to the fans at the event." No further statements pertaining to the matter have been announced since.
