'Veteran' is about a detective played by Hwang Jung Min, who is solving a high profile case involving a young and arrogant third generation chaebol played by Yoo Ah In. Every time he chases after the heir, he escapes using his money and connections.
According to CJ E&M, as of the morning of September 5 KST, an incredible 11.45 million people went to see the film 'Veteran' in theaters! With this number, the film beat 'The Attorney' (11.37 million viewers) and 'Tidal Wave' (11.39 million viewers) to nab the #10 spot.
In just its 25th day of being in theaters, the movie sold over 10 million tickets, and a few days after that, it sold a total of 11.45 million.
It's not over just yet! Box office sales are predicted to go even higher enough to place it higher up on the top 10 list.
