iKON are following the trend of releasing more than one title track. But they're also doing something no other rookie has done before. The group is set to have at least a total of 5 title tracks for their debut! That's right, not one, two or three, but five!
In an interview with StarNews, Yang Hyun Suk explained again about the importance of iKON being able to create their own songs, and just why they are launching with such large-scale promotions. "It's because they've put in all their effort into creating music this past while," he said.
He also added, "Especially in the case of iKON, they have the experience of losing in a survival show, so they're a group who has experienced pain. The company put a lot of care into their official debut."
He spoke about their album by saying, "Of the 12 tracks in iKON's debut full-album to be released in November, at least 5 of them are title tracks. As such, we'll be filming at least 5 MVs."
He also introduced the upcoming 'warm up single' by stating, "Their first single to be revealed on September 15th has a groovy feel and is a medium tempo, emotional hip-hop track. This song is one of the title tracks and there will definitely be an MV."
How excited are you for this epic debut?
