The TV personality confessed, "I bear a lot of scars on my heart," rousing the curiosity of the listeners. DJ Choi Hwa Jung, upon hearing Hong Suk Chun's confession, commented, "I don't think that'd be the case. I think you speak everything that's on your mind." Hong Suk Chun denied those presumptions, saying, "I don't usually say what's on my mind. But these days I feel like I've reached the boiling point. I run a business, but because I'm a celebrity, even when I'm treated unfairly by the building owners, I can't speak my mind and just take it. When they say stuff like, 'But you're a public figure,' I get really upset. I couldn't even sleep yesterday," unable to hide his frustration at the unfair treatment that he has to deal with from being a celebrity.

Do you think it's fair celebrities have to hold their tongues even when being treated poorly?

It must be tough to be a celeb who lives in a conservative and rigid country like South Korea. Even tougher to be a gay celeb. I don't know exactly why his building owners are being so mean to him, but I admire his ability to deal with them with patience and grace. I mean, if it was me, I would've cuss them out already. ;

It's not fair that they have to hold their tongue but words can can easily be twisted around. A persons career is easier to shatter then the finest porcelain. Neticens (sp?) make damn sure of this.

AKP is starting to piss me off with their questions "do you think it's far to hold their tongue?" Fuck no, no one should hold their tongue when being treated poorly, hows that even an option. And those who think so, fight me

I think it isnt just cause he's a celebrity, they may hold his sexuality against him too, his country isn't really open to homosexuality yet. I think he did right but it sucks to have to hold it in, bcs he is a public figure a few words to the offended and they may tarnish your image out of spite. But I guess that can also depend on the persons mental strength, if you dont worry about potential threats to your career or image then you may be more prone to speak up, he has a alot of side eyes thrown his way just bcs of his sexuality so he may feel he has to be more careful. But you shouldnt fuck w/ smeone's business owner or not. ;
