Actor Shim Hyung Tak is a handsome man, so it comes as no surprise that the biggest entertainment agency at the time, SM Entertainment, was interested in casting him!
He appeared on 'Radio Star' on August 19 and revealed that back in 1997, he was personally scouted by Lee Soo Man, surprising everyone. The actor said, "I was at a cafe, and he told me to come out to the company sometime," so he had gone with an inflated heart.

Shim Hyung Tak continued, "I went and sang the song 'Gather My Tears'. After I sang the song, he told me, 'A group called Shinhwa is about to come out now, but I don't think you match their color. Give up on being a singer.'"
Ouch! Well, he's an actor now and is definitely trending as a star.
