Lee Tae Im opens up about her controversy and how she feels about Yewon

As you've heard, actress Lee Tae Im has been cast in a role for the first time after her controversy with Yewon, and she sat down for an interview with StarNews to discuss her return to the scene. The actress gave her honest thoughts on the controversy and how she thought about Yewon now.

She honestly admitted, "Truthfully, I did dislike her[Yewon] more during that time seeing the world on her side. Of course there was a bad happening, but as she was a person that I did work with, seeing that she didn't say anything and just acted like she is willing to accept my apology, even with all those false articles coming out [about the situation] - I couldn't help but be very hurt and disappointed. I thought to myself 'I guess this is how I'm leaving [the scene]'. I was really sad."

However, as you know, the video clip from the filming was leaked, revealing that Yewon did in fact speak informally to Lee Tae Im, even though Yewon's side had previously denied it, suggesting that Lee Tae Im had an outburst for no reason. With the video clip revealed, overnight, the sentiments toward Lee Tae Im and Yewon reversed, and most pointed out that Lee Tae Im wasn't the only one at fault.

She added, "Honestly, when fingers were being pointed at me, I couldn't even go on the internet. I was scared. Everyone was saying I was in the wrong... It was a situation where my condition mentally was not good. When the video clip was revealed, I felt strange. What female actress would be happy about a video of herself swearing being released. I felt weird. But since it got rid of the misunderstanding, I found solace."

She said, "I watched the clip after I heard that it had been revealed. In a way it looked like a drama scene. People around me told me to sue, and catch the people who spread the video. But I just tried to find relief in knowing that the truth was revealed."

When asked if she had ever met up with Yewon since the happening, Lee Tae Im said no. On whether she forgave the idol, Lee Tae Im replied, "More so than forgiving, it feels like we've come too far. I'm very ashamed. As a sunbae, I should have shown a better side, but I acted in the same say. I'm very ashamed. I'm too ashamed to watch that video again."
