There was a bit of a controversy recently surrounding model Kim Jin Kyung and the way she reacted when designer Hwang Jae Geun said she looked like 2NE1 member CL. Her initial reaction seemed to suggest that she was appalled by such a comment, gaining her backlash from the girl group's fans.
And after the issue blew up, CL posted a mysterious Instagram post that led to a debate about whether the idol is "throwing shade" at the model as her caption read: '#icouldmakeahaterfamousyah'.
Many instantly assumed CL was referring to model Kim Jin Kyung as her name did become a hot topic with this issue rising. Some left supportive comments for CL, while some expressed their disappointment that CL would fire back at a young model in this way over something silly. Others, however, argued that CL had never dropped any names, so she could be referring to an entirely different situation.
