'Mix & Match's Yang Hong Seok signs with Cube Entertainment after leaving YG Entertainment

A report surfaced detailing his signing with his new agency, and Cube Entertainment spoke up to confirm that it's true. 

One rep told TVReport, "We have signed with Yang Hong Seok as a trainee. He's currently practicing hard. As for when he will debut, nothing has been decided on yet."

Yang Hong Seok had previously appeared on the survival show 'Mix & Match' and competed to earn a spot in YG's new boy group iKON. However, he was not selected as part of the final lineup, and it seems he decided it may be better to start anew under a different agency.

If he is able to make his debut, this won't be the first time that a former YG trainee finds his success under Cube Entertainment, for B2ST's Hyunseung was once a YG trainee who was training to be a part of Big Bang before he was eliminated. He later signed with Cube and has made a name for himself as not only a member of B2ST but now also a soloist.

We hope to see Yang Hong Seok make his big debut soon!
