The movie 'Northern Limit Line' (literal title: Second Battle of Yeonpyeong) starring Lee Hyun Woo has recently become the most watched Korean movie in theaters of this year!
According to the 'Korean Film Council', as of July 10 KST, a total of 3,872,070 people watched 'Northern Limit Line' in theaters! That means this film had the highest Korean movie 'score' of 2015 so far.
The film beat the film 'Detective K: Secret of the Lost Island' which previously had the highest record of 2015.
'Northern Limit Line' was just released last month, and was not only number 1 in the box office, but was also the fastest Korean film to surpass 2 million tickets sold in 2015.
The film is based on a true story when North Korea attacked a South Korean patrol boat during the 2002 World Cup.
