PD says SHINee's Minho is the face of 'Show! Music Core'

You might have heard of the MC changes for MBC's 'Show! Music Core', but what's key here is that SHINee's Minho is here to stay. He's been one of the hosts for the popular music show for over 2 years now since April 2013!

Many MCs leave music shows once they get busy with an upcoming comeback or filming, but Minho has never permanently left. Even when he was unable to take on his MC duties, someone else temporarily filled in his spot as a special MC, and he always returned.

'Show! Music Core's PD Kim Myeong Jin told Star News on May 6, "We wanted to hold onto 'Show! Music Core's representative face. Even if we replace MCs on 'Music Core', we wanted to keep the same face. 'Music Core's representative face is none other than Minho."

As previously reported, VIXX's N and Red Velvet's Yeri will be replacing Kim So Hyun and Block B's Zico and joining Minho, starting with the May 9 broadcast.

The PD added, "VIXX's N and Red Velvet's Yeri have already showed their potential when they were special MCs. They fit well with our live show atmosphere and our overflowing energy atmosphere. We also see a high potential for them to grow."
