Hwang Jung Eum reveals her time in Sugar was a slump in her life

Sugar member and actress Hwang Jung Eum charmed her fans with her refreshingly blunt personality once again.

At the 'Kill Me, Heal Me' dinner event, she revealed, "In my life, there have been two slumps. The first was when I was in [the girl group] Sugar, and the second was when I was in [the drama] 'Golden Time'. Even though I'm here as Hwang Jung Eum now because of Sugar and 'Golden Time', it was really difficult then."

She continued, "People grow after going through struggles, but I still have a long way to go. It's true filming a drama is hard work. When I think back to when I was in Sugar, I am really thankful for now."

The actress concluded, "I'm really thankful to my former members. They understand that I'm going through a hard time. Everyone had a hard time. We still keep in touch."
