On the February 26th airing of KBS2's 'Happy Together 3', Yewon talked about being an expert at giving her friends relationship advice as well as her thoughts on going solo.
Yewon started off the conversation by stating, "I'm not really good at being in relationships myself, but I give a lot of advice to my friends." When the MCs asked, "How do you give advice when you don't have experience?" Yewon replied back cheerfully, "I read a lot, especially about psychology of men."
Comedian Kim Young Shin, who's closely acquainted with Yewon, then blurted out, "I have yet to see one book at Yewon's house."

MC Yoo Jae Suk also asked Yewon how she was doing after Jewelry's disbandment, and the female idol said, "Jewelry disbanded after 14 years [of being together]. I've been lonely ever since the disbandment. Now that I'm alone after always being together, I get lonely."
However, Yewon maintained her optimistic nature and added, "I will think of this as a starting point, as if I'm drawing just one picture on a blank canvas and working hard."
Meanwhile, Star Empire Entertainment released an official disbandment announcement in January 2015 and stated that Yewon will be the only member to stay with the agency.
