Kang Ha Neul said, "I don't develop feelings for women who act. I have yet to date an actress, and I have no plans on dating them in the future. A painter once said that he wouldn't grab a paint brush again if he was born again. It's something similar to that. I know how hard acting is. If I met an actress who had similar passion for acting as I did, then she would also see how hard acting is. If not, then there is no charm to that actress."
He then added, "I do have a favorite actress. It's Jung Yoo Mi. I saw her once at the press conference for the movie 'Man Hole'. Rather than having feelings of attraction, the thought of meeting a senior who I respect made me nervous. I was trembling while trying to shake her hand. I liked her since the movie 'How To Operate a Polaroid Camera'. I like the work that she chooses and the tone of her acting. It's similar to the acting that I prefer."
