Shortly after the report of Bumkey and his alleged role in aiding drug dealing, his agency Brand New Music has followed up with a short statement to explain their current situation.

The agency wrote in their official press release,
"Hello, this is Brand New Music.
First off, we are regretful that our agency artist Bumkey has become involved in controversial matters related to drugs and apologize to all the fans.
Currently, Bumkey is denying all the accusations, and Brand New Music will reveal everything truthfully through the court process.
We plead that fans withhold speculations and please wait. We once again sincerely apologize for unintentionally causing you to worry."
As mentioned before, Bumkey was placed under arrest after police suspected him of aiding in the selling of drugs. Bumkey is said to have denied all charges and his side has insisted that the artist is only under suspicion because he knows and spends time with the people who are responsible for the drug dealing.
