From romance scandals to contract dispute between agency and artist, 2014 has been a real roller coaster ride for the K-Pop industry. But even with all the distractions and downfalls, our favorite idols released some of the most eargasmic songs, soothing our wounded hearts.

For this year, our allkpop staff members combed through numerous releases to bring you a list of fifty of the year's most noteworthy songs. (Note: To be on this ranking, the songs had to be released between the dates of January 1, 2014 to December 15, 2014 for consideration.) The songs are listed based on a combination of level of popularity on allkpop, music chart rankings, music show awards, and staff opinion.

Today, we bring you the ranking for numbers forty one to fifty on our list.

Here is allkpop's 'Top 50 K-Pop Songs of 2014'!

SEE ALSO: ILLIT praised for making a significant improvement in recent encore live performance

50. TEEN TOP "I'm Sorry"

Album: Teen Top 20's Love Two 'EXITO'

Label: T.O.P Media

Release Date: November 9, 2014

For TEEN TOP, 2014 can be counted as their "break" year. With limited promotions and appearances on air, TEEN TOP boys took it easy with their newest comeback mini album, 'EXITO.' Successfully transforming their image from punky and beastly idols to sentimental boys with a wounded heart, TEEN TOP touched the hearts of the listeners with "I'm Sorry," characterized by straightforward lyrics and groovy instrumentals.

49. Jiyeon "1 MIN 1 SEC"

Album: Never Ever

Label: Core Contents Media

Release Date: May 20, 2014

allkpop Review

T-ara's Jiyeon's highly anticipated solo debut drew attention for her sexy choreography and even more seductive MV and performance. Despite its being one of the weaker songs that was produced by hitmaker team Duble Sidekick, Jiyeon stood well enough on her own without having to drown the song with concept and excess promotions. Each breath Jiyeon takes for the track is intentional and so was the release of the album. Jiyeon finally sheds the youngest member image and blossoms into a matured artist with "1 MIN 1 SEC."

48. ZE:A "Breathe"

Album: First Homme

Label: Star Empire Entertainment

Release Date: June 2, 2014

It's been a fabulous year for the boys of ZE:A. Not only did they receive much press time and screen-time overall but also the individual works of each member really shined, elevating the groups' popularity. "Breathe" also was one the best releases from ZE:A; although they weren't able to place in the charts, they still remain as one of the groups to keep a close eye on for their limitless progress.

47. MC Mong "Miss Me or Diss Me"

Album: Miss Me Or Diss Me

Label: Dream T Entertainment

Release Date: November 3, 2014
allkpop Review

MC Mong had one of the most successful and powerful comebacks of 2014, beating out VIXX's "Error" and B2ST's "12:30" on music charts with its album sales. Despite the negative comments he received for his past actions in addition to his five-year hiatus, MC Mong's comeback garnered much interest because of the provoking title and, of course, the top-notch quality of the title track was exactly what the fans expected. While maintaining his old style of rapping, MC Mong incorporated string instrumentals and candid lyrics to provoke emotions from the listeners.

46. BTOB "You're So Fly"

Album: Move

Label: Cube Entertainment

Release Date: September 29, 2014

Finally, the boys of BTOB are able to run freely on stage with their highly energetic track, "You're So Fly." And with this fun track, BTOB took first place on the charts for the week it was released while the MV on YouTube reached over 2,200,000 views and also placed high in Gaon Social Charts the same week. The track garnered even more popularity amongst foreign listeners as it was featured in 'America's Next Top Model.'

45. GOT7 "Girls Girls Girls"

Album: First Mini Album - Got it?

Label: JYP Entertainment

Release Date: January 20, 2014

allkpop Review

The start of GOT7 was surprisingly successful. Despite the lack of promotions, GOT7 made a name for themselves in the industry with stunning stage performance, which incorporated martial arts and various tricks. These seven boys, mixed with swag and puppy-like adorableness, peeked at the #1 spot on Billboard's World Album Charts and even ranked high on real-time charts in Korea.

44. San E x Raina "Midsummer Night's Sweetness"

Album: Project Single 'Midsummer Night's Sweetness'

Label: Pledis

Release Date: July 12, 2014

"Midsummer Night's Sweetness" was named as one of the theme songs of 2014 and stands tall amidst the numerous collaborations released just this year. With Raina's sweet and soothing vocals and San E's rhythmical flow, "Midsummer Night's Sweetness" moved towards the top of the charts with ease. The soothing song topped 10 different music charts and was even predicted to achieve a long run on the charts and even become the second "Some" of the year.

43. Sunmi "Full Moon"

Album: Full Moon

Label: JYP Entertainment

Release Date: February 17, 2014

allkpop Review

2014 was the year for solo artists, and former Wonder Girls member Sunmi revealed to be unique--and definitely talented--enough to maintain her status in the fierce entertainment industry. Following "24 Hours," where Sunmi seduced the audience with her coy hip dance, "Full Moon" hit well over a million views in a week's time.  With her seductive vocals and even more alluring performance, Sunmi rose to the top; she was even seen performing at the '2014 MAMA' and was awarded the Best Dance Performance award.

42. GD x Taeyang  "Good Boy"

Album: Good Boy

Label: YG Entertainment

Release Date: November 21, 2014

allkpop Review

"Good Boy" was one of the most predictable yet impressive tracks of 2014. It was a highly anticipated track from this sub-unit, and did not disappoint!  "Good Boy" was ranked as the most watched K-Pop MV of November via YouTube and was showered with accolade. "Good Boy" ranked high for its overall unique and lively concept as well as the quality of the boys' performance.

41. A Pink "LUV"

Album: Pink LUV

Label: A Cube Entertainment

Release Date: November 24, 2014

allkpop Review

Although the group graduated from their title as military-idols this year, A Pink moved onto maturing their musicality and focused on developing a more defined image for the group with "LUV." A Pink continued to push their lovely girl-next-door image and, once again, they succeeded capturing the hearts of the audience. "LUV" also placed impressively high on charts as they achieved an all-kill on real time charts and even snagged the #1 spot on daily charts.
