Through the survival show, 12 trainees from Starship Entertainment will collaborate with artists to compete for a spot in the agency's upcoming hip-hop boy group. San E, Giriboy, and Genius Nochang as well as Starship artists will mentor the contestants.
PD Yoo Il Han stated, "Different from other survival [shows], we plan to show a new format of trainees collaborating with top artists for special stages as part of the survival element. Through the collaboration stages, [viewers] will fall for the talent and charms of the 12 trainees."
It is not clear yet if this group is somehow related to their upcoming hip hop group NuBoyz, who seem to be under Starship X, or whether if it's an entirely separate new group.
'No.MERCY' will premiere on December 10 at 11 PM KST and will air every Wednesday for a total of 10 episodes.
