During a recent airing of MBC's 'Documentary Special', various artists such as Jung Young Wook, drummer of indie rock band Crash, Heo Ji Woong, Boohwal's Kim Tae Wong, and Lee Seung Gi recalled the special times they had come in contact with the recently passed rocker Shin Hae Chul.
Lee Seung Gi recalled sentimentally, "He treated me very warmly unlike what I had expected." He continued, "To a high schooler who genuinely wanted to do music, he asked me earnestly, 'Did you say that your name was Seung Gi?' He seriously asked me what kind of music I wanted to do and how I want it to sound as well as my opinions on it."
It was also revealed that many artists were touched by Shin Hae Chul's caring and warm heart. Shin Hae Chul made a positive impact in the music industry as well as the indie scene with his generous donations and support he gave to the upcoming generation of artists.
Shin Hae Chul passed on October 27 due to a blood infection.
