Actress Clara denied that she was dating designer Choi Bum Suk, explaining that the friendly atmosphere enveloping the two stemmed from their close friendship rather than any romantic relationship.
Her new agency Polaris Entertainment told OSEN on August 13, "The two got closer from being on the same team on SBS's 'Fashion Korea 2,' and that is all. They do not have an earnest relationship."

In relation to the two wearing couple bracelets and rings, the rep stated, "Those were made to commemorate being on the same team; otherwise, they have no special meaning. If they were really dating, wouldn't they have hidden [the couple items]?"
On the same day, Clara attended the press conference for the fashion survival program, saying that it was immense good fortune that she got to work alongside designer Choi Bum Suk. In return, Choi Bum Suk showered her with compliments, so that Shin Dong Yup joked, "We are confident that the two are dating."
Meanwhile, the second season of the program will start airing on August 16.
