Kris' reps and SM Entertainment entered mediation at Seoul Central District Court on July 8, but it's been reported that both sides were unable to reach a mutual agreement.
Kris (Wu Yi Fan), who has filed a suit against the agency in order to terminate his exclusive contract, was unable to attend the meeting due to his filming schedule for the movie 'Somewhere Only We Know'. SM Entertainment director Kim Young Min was not present either. The half-hour arbitration meeting is reported to have started at 3:20PM KST and wrapped up before 4PM with no conclusion reached.
The formerly active EXO member's reps stated, "It's true that we held the mediation meeting today. However, there's nothing we can say about trial-related matters."
In other news, Kris was recently named in a dating scandal with director Xu Jing Lei, who is also directing 'Somewhere Only We Know'. Both Kris and the director's reps have denied the rumors.
