Fans love to take to the internet and watch "MR removed" videos, meaning that the recorded music in the background for all performances has been removed so that the singers' voices could be heard better. Of course, this isn't an exact science and may have some flaws, but it generally does give fans a good sense of how well performers sing on stage!
