'Generation of Youth' production company and actors in discussion over a 50% pay cut

KBS 2TV's recently completed drama 'Generation of Youth' is under more controversy regarding a supposed pay cut for the actors.  Finally, the production company Ray&mo stated to media outlet OSEN on April 17 that they did not demand a pay cut, but are rather in discussion with the actors regarding this situation.

The rep said, "We sent the actors a document regarding the 50% modified payment as their appearance fee.  This was not a one-sided demand for cutbacks, but rather both the production company and actors are in discussion.

One place did accept the offer, so we are paying orderly to that side first.  The production company is also arranging finances for the side that has not yet reached an agreement, so we plan on continuing that to pay the appearance fees."
