Previously, Jeonnam Provincial Police Agency's criminal investigation intelligence unit revealed on April 18, "On the marine's charges of defamation, we were going to summon Hong Ga Hye for investigation, but she stopped all contact in the afternoon and has disappeared."
Now, Chairman Jung Dong Nam of the Korea Rescue Alliance told OBS, "[Unlike what she said in the interview], we never blocked anyone from working. The marines never blocked civilian diver teams from working. I wanted to talk to her when I saw her yesterday, but she backed away."
He added, "I think my thoughts and the thoughts of the families of the missing must be the same. We're working hard enough to vomit blood. We're putting our lives on the line on the [rescue]. The sky isn't helping us, so it's difficult."
Meanwhile, an arrest warrant has been issued for Hong Ga Hye.
