According to AGB Nielsen Media Research, the music festivals weren't able to surpass the double-digit mark in overall viewer ratings with the '2013 KBS Music Festival' achieving the highest viewer rating of 9.1% and the '2013 SBS Gayo Daejun' achieving the lowest of 7.6%.
In the drama awards category, the '2013 SBS Drama Awards' came in first place with the highest viewer rating of 13.0% as expected as the network has had a good year with popular dramas 'I Hear Your Voice', 'Wind Blows in Winter', 'The Sun of My Master', 'Jang Ok Jung', and 'Heirs' while the '2013 KBS Drama Awards' trailed behind the others with a 9.9% viewer rating.
The entertainment awards ceremonies were the highlights of the end-of-the-year events with the '2013 MBC Entertainment Awards' achieving the highest viewer rating among all of the entertainment award ceremonies and music festivals with a 15.2% viewer rating. MBC's entertainment award ceremony features some of Korea's biggest variety shows including 'Infinity Challenge', 'Dad, Where Are You Going?', 'Real Men', and international-fan-favorite 'We Got Married'.In the entertainment awards category, the '2013 SBS Entertainment Awards' fell in last place with a 10.5% viewer rating.
