The issue previously arose when the couple was featured on 'We Got Married' as Jung In's mom requested that Jo Jung Chi have a home ready per Korean tradition. Though Jo Jung Chi agreed, Jung In refused to go along with the custom.
During the recent filming of 'Yoo Hee Yeol's Sketchbook', Jung In revealed, "We paid exactly half each... A lot of people have misunderstood and believe we bought a house, but it's a rental." She added, "We split 50/50 not only in terms of the deposit, but also down to the cost of scissors and vinyl bags."
Host Yoo Hee Yeol also asked why Jung In's house was never shown on 'We Got Married', and she replied simply, "Because my house is messier than Jo Jung Chi's."
