According to the Seoul Yeongdeungpo Police Station, Jeon Young Joong crossed the street center line while riding his 125 cc motorcycle and crashed into an incoming taxi on the 21st at around 3:10 AM KST. He was immediately rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
An SBS rep commented, "We just heard of the news this morning as well. We feel sorry to hear that a good rookie comedian has passed away. We pray that he rests in peace."
Jeon Young Joong was known for his hilarious 'Life Is Beautiful' corner on SBS' 'Gag Tonight' and 'People Finding Laughter' and is also known to be actor Yoon Si Yoon's fellow acting major student at Kyonggi University.
